Yangcheng Evening News Report, reported by journalist Wang Manqi: A young girl under the age of 14, with a slightly swollen abdomen, was found to be in the early stages of pregnancy after an ultrasound at the hospital. This shocking diagnosis left her family devastated and filled with shame and anger. After repeated questioning, the girl identified a 59-year-old neighbor from the same village, Mr. Fu, as the man who had lured her into his house and raped her. The incident occurred in a village in Donggang Town, Huilai County, Jieyang City. Mr. Fu admitted to "touching the girl" but denied raping her and subsequently went missing. Currently, the local police have intervened in the investigation.

After receiving a tip-off, Yangcheng Evening News reporters rushed to the scene for an investigation yesterday.

The victim was only 13 years old when the abuse occurred.

Yesterday at noon, the reporter entered Xiao Xue's home. Upon seeing strangers, a thin girl quickly retreated into the inner room, hiding behind the bed and refusing to come out, accompanied by soft sobs. Her 53-year-old father, Chen Yinsai, silently smoked, while her mother looked worried. Sister Shujun continuously comforted her younger sister, Xiao Xue. This girl, born in July 1998 and not yet 14 years old, had a slightly swollen abdomen and was nearly two months pregnant. According to the family, Xiao Xue had suffered from a high fever when she was six or seven months old, which affected her intelligence afterward, leaving her with the mental capacity of a seven or eight-year-old child.

During the Spring Festival this year, Shujun brought her younger sister to the hospital for an ultrasound examination upon returning home for the holiday, confirming that Xiao Xue was pregnant. After repeated inquiries, Xiao Xue recounted how she had been lured and raped: On the afternoon of December 9th last year, around 1 PM, after finishing lunch, her father, Chen Yinsai, was about to work in the fields when he met their neighbor, Mr. Fu, at the door. The two families lived dozens of meters apart, and Mr. Fu occasionally came over for tea. After greeting Chen Yinsai, Mr. Fu walked away. A little later, Xiao Xue inside the house heard Mr. Fu calling her outside: "Your mom left a piece of pork at my house; come and get it." So, Xiao Xue followed him. Once inside Mr. Fu's house, where no one else was present, Mr. Fu immediately closed the door and proceeded to rape her.

According to Xiao Xue’s recollection, afterward, Mr. Fu gave her 30 yuan and threatened her not to tell her parents. When Xiao Xue returned home, she did not mention her ordeal. It wasn't until her mother noticed that her menstrual period was delayed that the family took Xiao Xue to the hospital for an ultrasound on the second day of the New Year. They discovered that Xiao Xue was nearly 50 days pregnant, leading them to conclude that the rape had occurred around December 9th last year. At the time of the assault, Xiao Xue was only 13 years old.

The suspect suddenly disappeared.

Shujun told reporters that upon hearing her sister's account, she was extremely angry but also did not want to falsely accuse anyone. After multiple inquiries, Xiao Xue firmly stated that it was indeed Mr. Fu. The straightforward Chen Yinsai family then informed Mr. Fu's wife. Mr. Fu's wife and Mr. Fu had a big argument, and reportedly, Mr. Fu eventually admitted to giving Xiao Xue 30 yuan but claimed he only touched her body, denying any act of rape.

According to Xiao Xue's family, after the incident, the village cadres also intervened in mediation. Mr. Fu hoped to settle the matter privately and finally proposed a compensation of 20,000 yuan, which was rejected by Xiao Xue's family. On January 27th this year, accompanied by her family, Xiao Xue reported the case to the Donggang Police Station in Huilai County.

At around 7 PM that evening, when police officers arrived at Mr. Fu's home to take him back for assistance in the investigation, Mr. Fu had vanished. The next day, Mr. Fu's wife also left home. Subsequently, the investigating officers conducted four separate investigations in the village, but Mr. Fu was never at home.

Yesterday at noon, the reporter knocked on the door of Mr. Fu's house, where his daughter and daughter-in-law were eating inside. Mr. Fu's daughter claimed she could not reach her father. Regarding the allegations against Mr. Fu, she stated: "Everyone in the village is talking about it, I've almost gone crazy listening to these rumors. I don’t believe my father would do such a thing!" Why did Mr. Fu leave home? Mr. Fu's daughter told reporters that she believed her father left because he could not bear the gossip from people around him, even his own wife "wrongfully accused" him. She hopes her father will return soon to clarify the situation with the public security authorities and prove his innocence.

Shujun said that given her sister's young age, they definitely cannot allow the fetus to be born. On January 30th, police officers took Xiao Xue to a relevant institution in Huilai County for a gynecological examination. The forensic doctor said the fetus would need to be three months old before an abortion could be performed. Xiao Xue's family expressed that they now only hope the police can quickly apprehend the suspect. By comparing the DNA of the suspect with the fetus in Xiao Xue's belly, the truth will come to light.
