Our reporter Zhou Xin - Yesterday noon, Wang Bing (a pseudonym), an online fugitive who illegally sold counterfeit electronic modules of a foreign brand, was escorted back to Beijing. The Haidian Public Security Bureau stated that this is the first online fugitive suspect brought back to Beijing by the Beijing police in the year of the Dragon. The man illegally constructed a 30,000 square feet basement in his villa (with pictures).

In August 2011, the Zhongguancun Street Police Station of the Haidian Branch dismantled two criminal gangs that were illegally selling counterfeit electronic modules of a foreign brand. Through investigation, the police discovered that the counterfeit products were shipped from Guangdong, and the shipper was Wang Bing. Subsequently, after fully obtaining relevant evidence, the Haidian police issued an online warrant for his arrest on January 2012, while simultaneously informing the Nanning police in Guangxi that Wang Bing might return to Nanning for the New Year. On January 17, 2012, the Nanning police swiftly acted, capturing the suspect Wang Bing who had just returned home to prepare for the New Year. Currently, Wang Bing has been criminally detained by the Haidian police on suspicion of selling goods with counterfeit registered trademarks.
