Exhibition Introduction:
After years of development, Tanzania has become the most important trade center in East Africa. This is closely related to the friendly policies provided by Tanzania for foreign investors and foreign products. In Tanzania, the tariffs on Russian auto parts are quite low, and the tariffs for re-exporting to neighboring countries are also very low, or even exempt from tariffs. Moreover, Ethiopia, Somalia, Mozambique, Uganda and other surrounding countries are all on the path to development. In terms of the automotive industry, with the development of local and surrounding countries, the demand for new cars and auto parts in East Africa is increasing year by year. At the same time, due to the fact that most of Africa are emerging markets, and the automobile industry in African countries is extremely underdeveloped, almost zero, so automobiles and auto parts mostly depend on imports, and there is a very large market gap. Additionally, due to the relatively low consumption level and purchasing power locally, high-quality and affordable Chinese products are highly favored. Currently, the number of Chinese companies developing this region is not many, but the market share they occupy is indeed quite significant, so the business opportunities of the East Africa International Auto Show should not be ignored.
Market Introduction:
Dar es Salaam is the capital of Tanzania, as well as the largest city in Tanzania, the national political, economic, and cultural center. It is located on the coastal plain of the middle segment of the Indian Ocean shore in Africa, controlling the key shipping route of the western Indian Ocean. "Dar es Salaam" means "Port of Peace." It is an excellent natural seaport with deep water in the port area. There are six deep-water berths in the port, which can simultaneously berth thirteen ocean-going vessels, making it one of the most important international trade ports in East Africa. Some goods from neighboring countries such as Zambia, Zaire, and Burundi are also transshipped here. There is an oil pipeline connecting to Ndola in Zambia. Dar es Salaam is an important industrial city in Tanzania, with industrial output accounting for more than half of the country, mainly focusing on light textile industries. Dar es Salaam is also the starting point of the central railway and the Tazara Railway, with roads leading to major towns across the country. It is the largest port in the country, with a naturally good harbor and complete warehouses, ship repair, and loading/unloading facilities. Several important railways in Tanzania extend inland from here.
