Our city is a typical example of a place with many people but little land, a region with rapid economic development, and the contradiction between land supply and demand is very prominent. The pressure to satisfy and bear the load with limited land resources is very heavy. Accordingly, in order to implement people-oriented, comprehensive, coordinated, and sustainable development, we must rationally face and respect the objective conditions and rigid constraints for development. Starting from national and city conditions, we should unite the scientific concept of development with a scientific land perspective, pay attention to the protection and rational utilization of land resources, promote intensive land use, improve management mechanisms, and seize good land conservation and intensive use as an important solution to this contradiction.
This is an important measure to fulfill the provincial Party committee's eight strategies for stimulating comprehensive, harmonious, and sustainable economic and social development, as well as an inherent demand to improve the utilization and management level of land resources. It also relates to our city's goal of enriching the people, strengthening the city, and taking the lead in development being smoothly realized.
Firstly, according to the unified deployment of the municipal Party committee and city hall, we have actively participated in a series of service years, adopting various effective measures to serve economic development, truly catching up with and firmly serving, achieving certain results.
We have extended spatial planning. Last time, during the overall land use planning summary, on the foundation of investigation and research for the new general land use planning, we combined the updating survey of land use and land use change surveys, fully highlighting the planning advantages, strengthening the integration of city land resources.
At the same time, carefully analyzing the trend of economic development and land demand, according to the new major economic development plans launched by city hall, timely adjusting the layout of construction land, doing a good job coordinating with the national economic development plan, town development planning, and other specialized plans. From a scientific and long-term perspective, adjust the layout of construction land, strengthen the planning's foresight and current situation, improving the program's scientific nature and maneuverability.
We have packaged projects for the slogan "shout loud, choose business, bring endowment," selecting industrial projects and businesses with investments over $10 million, especially focusing on four projects, striving to invest $1 million in strength to fight, listed for approval by the State Council and relevant departments of the State Council. Approved projects, with the remaining department and provincial indicators, have been approved. Up to now, the city has 19 projects approved as the first batch of key projects. Our city reported the second batch of key projects approved by the province will also be issued soon.
We have dealt with illegal clear legacy. According to the provincial government and provincial land-related document spirit, considering the city's illegal land use present situation, we organized research and formulated draft opinions on handling a certain number of issues regarding retroactive approval procedures for illegal land use within the area. Currently, the city's first batch includes all 111 enterprises, with a total land area of 8551.33 mu. After handling and reporting, after provincial land confirmation, currently, the provincial land has agreed on 109 enterprises, totaling 6329.52 acres. Service business development. Through the Bureau-led business offices, responsible persons, consisting of 2 visits to companies working groups and 1 for the index group. Visit enterprise focus groups visited urban enterprises, providing on-site services, advocacy, policy advice, improving the work.
