"Your woman is in my hands, quickly prepare the ransom." On the evening of February 11, 2012, in Chengnan, Jiaocheng, Jiaoling County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, Zhong received a text message sent from his girlfriend's mobile phone number. After much deliberation, Zhong reported it to the police.
"I threw away more than 30,000 yuan from the store to persuade my fiancé Zhong not to gamble anymore; another goal was to make Zhong register our marriage at the Civil Affairs Bureau." Qiu finally revealed the reason for falsely reporting the false emergency situation.
In December 2011, Zhong borrowed tens of thousands of yuan from the bank in Qiu's name. After the money was lent, Qiu found that Zhong did not use the money for legitimate purposes but for gambling and repaying debts. Qiu repeatedly advised Zhong not to gamble and to focus on his business, but Zhong did not listen, leading her to begin doubting Zhong's feelings for her.
On February 11th afternoon, Qiu saw Zhong in the car beauty shop and lied that she was followed by two young men wearing masks driving an unlicensed mini-bread van while buying medicine earlier.
Seeing Zhong's stubbornness, Qiu angrily picked up her shoulder bag and walked out of the car beauty maintenance shop, deciding to let Zhong know that such things would happen.
After leaving the shop, Qiu took a taxi to the school in Chengdong, Mei County where she used to study. Subsequently, Qiu edited a text message claiming she had been kidnapped and sent it to Zhong. When she saw Zhong's reply wasn't very concerned about her, Qiu was completely disappointed and took out a fruit knife from her bag, randomly slashing her palm and cheek. At around 7 pm, as it got dark, Qiu walked down the mountain and passed a small river by the mountain side, angrily throwing the items she carried into the river.
After finding Qiu, the police learned that at around 4 pm that day, Qiu bought meat dumplings back to the store near the car beauty shop when she suddenly smelled a strong perfume smell and then lost consciousness. When she woke up, Qiu found herself lying on the mountain, and her shoulder bag, mobile phone, and more than 30,000 yuan in cash were all gone. After waking up, she ran down the mountain under the light of the road lights below and along the way, she ran to a resident's house and called her boyfriend Zhong.
"In broad daylight, using drugs to knock out the victim, then kidnapping and robbing property." This news immediately caused a stir in the quiet mountain city of Jiaoling.
After receiving the alarm, the public security organs immediately launched external investigations. At around 9 pm that night, just as the police were looking everywhere for the girl's whereabouts, Zhong received a call from Qiu asking him to pick her up near a school in Chengdong, Mei County, which was 40 kilometers away from Jiaocheng.
Could it be a false report? While increasing investigative measures, the police asked questions again with this doubt. Under patient persuasion and education from the police, Qiu finally admitted to the entire process of fabricating the kidnapping case, and the incidents of being drugged, kidnapped, and robbed were all baseless.
The police officers of Jiaoling County Public Security Bureau successfully solved this case of kidnapping and robbery after two days and nights of continuous hard work. But what Zhong didn't expect was that this kidnapping case was actually a farce directed and performed by his girlfriend Qiu to test their love. And Qiu was also administratively detained by the public security organ, spending a "unforgettable" Valentine's Day in the detention center.
Currently, Qiu has been given administrative detention by the public security organ as a public security penalty. On February 14, which should have been a warm and romantic Valentine's Day, Qiu could only spend it alone in the detention center.
We learned from the reporter of the Legal Daily that at around 7 pm on February 11, Zhong, who runs a car beauty maintenance shop in Jiaoling County, reported to the Jiaoling County Public Security Bureau that his girlfriend Qiu, who works as an accountant in his shop, was kidnapped on a mountain at around 4 pm that day, and the other party used Qiu's mobile phone to send messages demanding ransom.
"The girl came out of the shop and everything was normal in the park. When she went back with the goods, she passed the shop door without entering, and there was nothing unusual."
After reviewing all the videos in the urban area, the police did not find any valuable clues.
"After more than ten hours of work, all three groups of police returned empty-handed. Could 'knockout drugs' really be so powerful? Were the suspects really so meticulous, leaving no trace?" With these series of doubts, the investigating police immediately adjusted their thinking.
It turned out that Qiu, 21 years old, started working in Zhong's car beauty shop since October 2011 and cohabited with Zhong, who had just divorced. During this period, Qiu repeatedly asked Zhong to go through the marriage registration procedures, but Zhong always made excuses like heavy pressure.
