Thus, the 10 managers of the company began on January 19th and used up 100 kilograms of celery and 100 kilograms of pork, spending a full 2 days making more than 4000 dumplings.
This report by our intern, Fu Yingjie, tells that at noon on January 22nd, as steaming hot dumplings were scooped out one by one, the strong festive atmosphere immediately filled the canteen of the Jinxi branch of the Urban-Rural Bus Company.
In today's microblog recommendations, it is reported that on New Year's Eve, more than 200 employees of the Jinxi branch of the Urban-Rural Bus Company in Wucheng District, Jinhua City, were still fighting on the front lines. Amidst their hard work, they also received a warm surprise—eating a large bowl of hot dumplings in the company canteen at noon that day.
What was even more unexpected was that these dumplings were all handmade. Except for the 5000 dumpling wrappers which were bought, all other fillings and ingredients were self-prepared. The makers of these dumplings were the 10 management personnel, including the manager, inspectors, dispatchers, and team leaders.
"Seeing the overtime teachers eat instant noodles during the Spring Festival last year made us feel heartbroken," said Feng Shuguang, the manager of the Jinxi branch. Due to the closure of small restaurants during the Spring Festival, the drivers had great difficulty buying even a quick meal.
And yesterday, the company also prepared braised pork buns and bone radish soup for the teachers working overtime. On the second day of the first lunar month, the teachers could also enjoy potato beef soup and sunny-side-up eggs, which, though not abundant, were warm and comforting.
