Research results show that: Women who give birth to malformed babies often use electric blankets. Because when the electric blanket is powered on, it generates a magnetic field which can affect the normal division of embryonic cells and lead to fetal malformations. The fetal bone cells are the most sensitive to electromagnetic fields, so after the fetus is born, its bones may be malformed. If pregnant women are exposed to heat in the early stages of pregnancy, it can cause fetal brain cells to die, affecting the development of the brain and leading to intellectual disabilities in infants after birth. The hotter the electric blanket, the greater the impact of the electromagnetic field on the fetus. Chinese experts conducted a retrospective case-control study on 2000 pregnant women and concluded that using electric blankets in the early stages of pregnancy is one of the risk factors for miscarriage. Sleeping with an electric blanket increases the likelihood of giving birth to a malformed baby. Moreover, the high temperature generated by electric blankets can affect the production of sperm in the testicles, leading to male infertility. According to statistics, half of the men with unexplained low sperm count and infertility have a history of extreme high temperatures in the scrotum.
