AC Milan has listed Genoa left-back Krzysztof as a player they intend to bring in. According to the latest Italian reports, the Rossoneri plan to acquire half ownership of the 24-year-old player during the winter transfer window. Galliani stated: "We are discussing this matter with Genoa Chairman Preziosi. This was one of the many topics we discussed while having dinner together in Brazil."

AC Milan CEO Galliani admitted during a Friday interview that negotiations regarding Krzysztof between AC Milan and Genoa are ongoing. Over the past two years, AC Milan has lacked quality full-backs, and Zambrotta's injury has further reduced the available options for the team, prompting the club to realize the necessity of addressing this issue.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, after acquiring partial ownership of Krzysztof, AC Milan would first loan him out until the end of the season. During the summer transfer window, AC Milan could then spend 10 million euros to fully acquire his rights.

However, Galliani also added that he believes this transfer might not be possible. Regardless, relations between AC Milan and Genoa remain good at present. Last summer, AC Milan signed Bojan via Genoa and then loaned him to the team. Due to Bojan's excellent performance, the Rossoneri are now preparing to buy out his contract. Additionally, Amelia, who currently serves as AC Milan's starting goalkeeper in place of the injured Abbiati, also transferred from Genoa.
