Brilliant Doctor, Supreme Analysis Novel: Supreme World | Author: Cha Ge De Ming Zi | Category: Urban Romance
Old Liu's "Brilliant Doctor" has now been updated to Chapter 1173. According to Old Liu's usual style, the daily update speed is much slower than when he was younger. The five novels "The Mayor's Daughter Falls in Love With Me," "The Girl Next Door Grows Up," "If I Love You, I'll Harass You," and "Bodyguard" are ones I've basically all read. "The Girl Next Door" was put on hold due to issues with the chapter titles, and then "Bodyguard" was written. Although "Bodyguard" doesn't have many chapters, it's very engaging. Unfortunately, Old Liu left "Bodyguard" unfinished. I estimate that a story that would take 500 chapters to conclude was rushed through in just a few dozen chapters. Indeed, writing long novels becomes most challenging towards the end. Not knowing what else to write might indicate an incomplete brainstorming session, unsure of what to write next to satisfy the masses. On Baidu Tieba, there's anticipation for whether "The Girl Next Door" will return, hoping Old Liu will continue writing.
There's quite a bit of rambling, but let's get back to Old Liu's new book in collaboration with Zongheng, "Brilliant Doctor." Qin Luo's character can actually be traced in several of Old Liu's novels. Now that the novel has reached this chapter, the basic female protagonists have appeared, from various professions. Compared to other novels, there are fewer foreign female characters. Princess Jiabao can only be treated like a sister and cannot join the harem because the Qin family has a tradition of not marrying foreign wives. Though he's just a small doctor from a family dedicated to saving lives, the complex web of relationships he navigates is no less impressive than those of second-generation officials or rich kids. With various encounters and support from different powers, how far can Qin Luo go?
The current chapters are getting hard for me to read. It feels like they're written in a similar style to a group of people. In Chapter 1050 of "Brilliant Doctor", "Once Upon a Time There Was a Disobedient Man!", there's nothing particularly innovative. Nowadays, I just skim through the chapters to see what happens to Qin Luo, unlike the big shots in the group who read more carefully. In the latest updates of "Brilliant Doctor," even connections between recurring characters in several novels and Old Liu himself are mentioned.
I still hope that Old Liu's works will get better and better, showcasing the brilliance of "Brilliant Doctor." I hope Old Liu will think things through carefully so that we, his readers, can enjoy his work once again.
