Fujian's "Ammonia Nitrogen Water Quality Automatic Analyzer" Passes Evaluation
On September 20th, the Fujian provincial metrology calibration regulation for the "Ammonia Nitrogen Water Quality Automatic Analyzer," drafted by the Fujian Metrology Institute, successfully passed the expert panel review. This regulation provides a faster, more accurate, and scientifically reasonable metrological evaluation method for ammonia nitrogen water quality automatic analyzers, reaching a domestically advanced level.
Ammonia nitrogen is an important indicator for evaluating water body pollution and self-purification status. In recent years, ammonia nitrogen water quality automatic analyzers have been installed at monitoring points for surface water, groundwater, and fishery water quality in Fujian Province. However, there has been a lack of unified and effective metrological technical standards for these instruments. Based on the working principles, metrological characteristics, and actual operation and maintenance conditions of ammonia nitrogen water quality automatic analyzers, the Fujian Metrology Institute researched and drafted the Fujian provincial metrology calibration regulation for the "Ammonia Nitrogen Water Quality Automatic Analyzer." This provides an important guarantee for achieving the binding indicators of ammonia nitrogen during the province’s "12th Five-Year Plan" period for energy conservation and emissions reduction, as well as improving the water pollution detection quality level in our province, offering good social and economic benefits.
