Are you stuck trying to think of topics for your thesis? This can be tough, especially when the teacher lets you choose any topic you want to discuss. What seems so simple at first might end up taking you more than a couple of hours. Even if you come up with ten different topics for your thesis, you may have a hard time settling on just one. Here are some potential topics for a good thesis:
.) Should animal testing be banned from research laboratories? If you're a strong supporter of animals, then you likely have quite strong arguments to support why animal testing should be prohibited.
.) Do animals have the same rights as humans? This should be a very interesting topic for a thesis. Are they just properties, or should they be treated the same as humans? Even though animals might agree if they could, it's very difficult to determine the truth since they don't speak our language.
.) Should animal cloning be banned? There has been tremendous controversy surrounding this topic, and you can easily write twenty pages or more on it. I'm sure your teacher will be thrilled about this topic.
.) How can employees' rights be protected? Millions of employees' rights are violated every single day. This might be a tough topic for a thesis, but your professor should find it intriguing.
.) How can employees be encouraged to volunteer? Most employees wouldn't do more than what's required to get paid. If they don't get paid to act, the chances are that nothing will be done.
.) Can money buy happiness? The easy answer to this is "yes," but it could be interesting to explore an argument saying otherwise.
.) When should computers be introduced to children? You might be surprised to find two-year-olds surfing the web nowadays. It can be dangerous when they don't know what's right and wrong.
.) Should mobile phones be banned? I'm sure millions of people would be angry if this happened. It would be interesting to see what people have to say about this topic. Could you live a couple of days without a cell phone? What about living without them for the rest of your life?
.) Should armed robbery crimes be punished more severely? If you can somehow reason that the penalty should be lessened, it could actually be a quite interesting topic for your thesis.
.) Should voluntary plastic surgeries be banned? Voluntary means that the person does not need the cosmetic surgery to be done. For example, women who are not comfortable with small breasts and would like to get bigger ones.
.) Should insurance policies cover gastric bypass surgery? This is a tough call, and I'm sure it would make for a great thesis topic. This might be necessary to save someone's life, meaning it isn't really something optional for a person suffering from obesity.
