New Breakthrough in High-Precision Level Gauge Testing in Jiangsu Province
After more than a year of intensive research, the "Level Gauge Calibration Device" developed by the Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Metrology recently passed the expert committee's appraisal.
According to reports, level gauges are working measuring instruments listed in the national mandatory verification directory and the national type approval directory, and they are widely used in trade settlements within the petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, and pharmaceutical industries. In recent years, with the entry of internationally renowned level gauge manufacturers such as E+H, OPW, and Famy into China, there has been an urgent need for enterprises to quickly and accurately calibrate high-precision level gauge products. Researchers from the Fujian Provincial Academy of Metrology have adopted a method combining machine vision with servo motion control, reducing human reading visual deviations and enhancing the accuracy of the device. All technical indicators and functional technologies have reached the optimal domestic level. At the same time, this also fills the "gap" in Fujian's testing capabilities for high-precision level gauges.
