The movie "Moon" poster. The story of "Moon" takes place in a not-so-distant future, where humans have discovered a type of rock on the far side of the moon. This rock directly absorbs energy from the sun and stores it as gas, Helium-3. In order to develop this new resource, a company called "Lunar Giants" has established a base on the moon to mine these rocks. And Sam Bell is the only employee at this lunar base, with only a robot named Gerty (voiced by Kevin Spacey) for company. During these lonely and long 3 years, Sam persists by looking forward to returning to his perfect life on Earth. But when his contract is about to expire, unusual events begin to occur...
