Everyone worked together to lift the boy onto the ground. According to reports from our correspondent (intern reporter Wang Qipeng), at around 2:20 PM yesterday afternoon, a boy suddenly fainted while waiting for a train at Dongdan Station on Subway Line 5 and lost consciousness. Emergency medical personnel from 120 immediately arrived at the scene and rushed him to the hospital, but they were unable to save his young life.

Eyewitnesses said that the boy was carrying a backpack while waiting for the train on the platform when he suddenly collapsed without warning. Station staff and police officers on duty immediately called 120 and contacted his family through his mobile phone. After emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene, they immediately performed CPR on the boy and quickly lifted him onto a stretcher, taking him to the nearest Peking Union Medical College Hospital from the subway station.

At Peking Union Medical College Hospital, the emergency doctor stated that the boy had died suddenly. Before the emergency personnel arrived, he had already stopped breathing and his heart had ceased beating. Despite this, everyone was unwilling to give up on saving this young life, and several doctors took turns performing external chest compressions on the boy. Unfortunately, after more than half an hour of resuscitation efforts, they were ultimately unable to bring the boy back from the brink of death. Subsequently, the boy's sister arrived at the hospital and called out his name in his ear, but her younger brother never woke up again.

It is understood that the boy was born in 1994 and hadn't yet turned 18.
