Subsequently, Ms. Fang, a former student of Zhuhai Qianshan Middle School from the class of 2003, who was one of the first students to experience the school uniform change, accepted an interview with the reporter. Ms. Fang stated that this sailor suit originated from the Zhuhai middle school students' unified school uniform voting in 2002, during which she directly voted for the sailor suit option, while some of her classmates chose the dress option. She noted that there are some differences between the school uniforms circulating online and the actual ones, and the skirts aren't that short. "Moreover, the skirt is a skirt-pants combination, so there won't be any exposure issues." Additionally, a teacher from the Student Affairs Office at Zhuhai No.1 Middle School also confirmed to the reporter that the images circulating online are not true. She explained that the girls' summer uniforms do indeed resemble naval uniforms at first glance, but upon closer inspection, there are differences in the details.
In response, Director Lin of the Zhuhai Education Bureau's Office debunked the rumors, stating that Zhuhai's middle schools have had unified uniforms since 2002, nearly ten years, and the female students' summer naval-style uniforms are youthful and spirited. After comparison, Director Lin sent the reporter images of Zhuhai students' naval uniforms, confirming that they do differ from the ones circulating online.
