The Beijing Olympic News Center held a press conference to announce the list of torchbearers. I wonder if I will be on it later, as I seem to recall submitting a few recommendation letters in the past. The conference announced that since June 23, 2007, the list of Beijing Olympic torchbearers has been finalized. The selection entities, including provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities), global partners, the International Olympic Committee, the Chinese Olympic Committee, the Beijing Organizing Committee, as well as the Olympic Committees of overseas relay cities and countries (regions), have carefully selected the torchbearers.
