The Midea KFR-45GW type split air conditioner has a problem with the outdoor unit not working.
**Fault Symptoms:** The indoor unit works normally, but the outdoor unit does not work.
**Analysis and Inspection:** Upon checking, both the pressure switch and the outdoor temperature sensor were found to be normal. The 6V and 12V power supply voltages on the computer board also tested normal. Using a multimeter, the resistance value of the temperature sensor RT1 was measured at 270Ω in an ambient temperature of 30°C, indicating it was in good condition. The microprocessor D75028CW pin 26 serves as the temperature sensor input terminal. When measuring pin 26, the voltage was found to be 2V and unstable. After disconnecting pin 26 of the microprocessor, the voltage at that point was still unstable. Further inspection of related components revealed that a 0.022uF/16V small capacitor connected to ground at this point had failed.
**Solution:** After replacing the faulty capacitor with one of the same model, the fault was resolved.
