The torsion spring was disassembled, followed by the removal of the pin securing the pulley's bushing to the shaft, separating the bushing from the shaft. Subsequently, a washer was installed outside the axial clearance between the two shaft sleeves. The thickness of the washer was 0.1~0.2mm smaller than the axial clearance between the two shaft sleeves, with its outer diameter matching the outer diameter of the shaft sleeve (and not exceeding it), otherwise the torsion spring would not function properly. The inner diameter of the washer matched the shaft diameter, allowing it to fit over the shaft. After installing the washer, the bushing for the pulley, pin, torsion spring, ratchet, and pulley were reassembled in sequence. The belt was reinstalled, and the machine was tested. The washing machine operated normally, and the fault was resolved.
**Fault Symptoms:**
After performing one cycle of washing and spin-drying in the washing machine tub, during the subsequent rinse cycle, the agitator rotates together with the tub, preventing proper rinsing of the clothes.
**Fault Analysis:**
