He has forgotten every single detail about that individual train, the Brady Quinn jersey, but now, all the Chiefs will gladly put this behind them as they get their other big male signed and sealed, because the team has already inked their first round pick DT Glenn Dorsey. The team announced that Dorsey, who fell in their eyes with the 5th selection, finalized a deal which reports claim will pay him $51 million over time.

“Glenn isn’t going to be just a great player for us,” Chiefs operator Clark Hunt declared. “He’s got all the tools.” The Chiefs need to be right, because they’re banking on Dorsey to step in and take some of the sting out of the loss of Jared Allen, last year's sack leader who was unhappy so they dealt him to the Vikings this past offseason. Dorsey can play inside while Tamba Hali is on the left side to the strong side P, creating space for the primary over pick.

“It’s a completely different world today, playing with someone who’s among the best at what they do,” he said. “I can’t really explain it to you right now. Groundbreaking, I was read through stay and see how it goes. I’m just about to have fun. I like to play when I’m having fun,” Dorsey said.

The deal came down around 3:30 am, and Dorsey quickly took a plane from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, making it to the Chiefs' offices right on time for meetings today.
