Beijing, in a morning news report on August 18, organic synthesis mentioned that the U.S. asset management and market research firm Robert W. Baird released a report on Wednesday indicating that consumers who have purchased or plan to purchase tablet PCs are only interested in the Apple iPad.
In this study, regarding CDR grafting, Robert W. Baird conducted a survey of 1,114 people, with 98% of respondents located in the United States. In the survey, more than 50% of respondents aged between 22 and 60 said they either already own a Tablet PC or plan to purchase one in the near future, and 95 percent of those respondents stated they would choose the iPad.
Even though survey respondents could select from a variety of tablet PCs, still only 10% of the respondents chose the HP TouchPad. The RIM BlackBerry Playbook and Acer Iconia were selected by 4% and less than 1% of the respondents respectively.
Report author Jason Nolan (Jason Noland) believes that competitors are unlikely to catch up with Apple in the short term. He mentioned that despite the barrage of Google Android-based tablet PCs, Nolan stated: computer users still prefer to buy PCs. This suggests that tablet PC sales haven't caused too much impact.
