If water flows simply by opening the tap without turning on the water inlet valve, it indicates that there is a fault in the internal structure of the water inlet valve. The following should be checked: whether the pressurization hole is blocked, if the core is rusted, if the small spring is rusted or broken or has insufficient elasticity, if the coil is burned out or if its heat deforms the skeleton slide channel, and if the rubber valve 8 is aged or damaged. When the pressurization hole of the water inlet valve is blocked, a high static pressure cannot be generated in the control cavity. The rubber valve will only be subjected to the pressure of the tap water from the water inlet chamber, causing the rubber valve to be pushed up and water to flow as if it were powered and opened.
At this point, a fine needle can be used to unblock the hole. It must be noted that needles or wires larger than the diameter of the hole should not be used to avoid enlarging or breaking the hole, which would render it ineffective and cause the water inlet valve to become scrap. If the core is rusted and cannot move in the skeleton slide channel, the rust on the core should be removed. If the small spring is rusted or broken or has insufficient elasticity, resulting in insufficient sealing pressure of the core on the depressurization hole, the small spring should be replaced. If the coil is burned out or its heat deforms the skeleton slide channel, causing the core to be jammed and unable to move, the water inlet valve should be replaced.
If the rubber valve deforms or develops cracks due to material aging, or if the small rubber column at the bottom of the core falls off, or if the valve seat is cracked or has foreign objects, the specific fault conditions should be handled accordingly.
