**Samsung Fully Automatic Washing Machine, Unable to Drain**

**Fault Symptoms:** After turning on the machine, the washing function operates normally, but during the drainage process, the machine does not work.

**Analysis and Repair:** First, check the program controller. This model uses a CXD-1-1 type mechanical-electric program controller. Its structural principle involves a 5W16-pole permanent magnet single-phase shaded-pole low-speed synchronous micro motor as the power source, driving a gear reduction mechanism to control the opening and closing of the contacts on the cam mechanism, thereby completing various program combinations.

Initially, the drain solenoid and door switch were checked, and their functions were found to be completely normal. Next, the micro motor was inspected, and it was discovered that the micro motor was not working. The causes of micro motor damage can include: excessive voltage fluctuations in the power grid; inflexible operation of the减速机构 (reduction mechanism) with jamming phenomena; or poor quality of the micro motor itself leading to motor damage. In this case, the micro motor damage was caused by unstable grid voltage.

**Resolution Measures:** Replace the micro motor with the same model, which resolved the fault.
