Nongke People-Oriented Breeding Farm specializes in breeding golden head centipedes and feedmealworms, integrating breeding, sales, and product recycling into a large-scale farm. Practical and trustworthy, we help a wide range of customers breed golden head centipedes and feed mealworms to achieve the greatest returns with minimal investment.

Supported by Huazhong Agricultural University: The national "211 Project" key university - Huazhong Agricultural University collaborates with Wuhan Nongke People-Oriented Bioengineering Co., Ltd. to jointly study and dedicate themselves to scientific farming and technological enrichment for centipede breeding technology: People-Oriented No. 2 Golden Head Centipede.

Advanced Technology Advantage: Wuhan Nongke People-Oriented Bioengineering Co., Ltd., together with several biological experts and professors of bioengineering from Huazhong Agricultural University, through years of breeding observation, has used optimal purification techniques and biological gene improvement engineering to cultivate a new generation of species - People-Oriented No. 2 Golden Head Centipede. Through feeding observations, this breed is simple to raise, gentle-tempered, adaptable, fast-growing, highly reproductive, with better medicinal value and more significant economic value, making it an ideal investment breeding project for many breeding enthusiasts.

Complete Breeding Facilities: Our company takes advantage of agricultural science and life sciences as its characteristic, relying on experts and scholars from the College of Animal Science and Technology, focusing on modern bioengineering, special breeding, and insect resource development as its core, integrating research, breeding, teaching, promotion, technical services, production, sales, and import-export trade into a high-tech enterprise. We own large ecological breeding areas, solar house breeding areas, greenhouse breeding areas, etc., and have set up technical training centers, seedling cultivation centers, germplasm rooms, incubation rooms, gene conversion rooms, etc., with excellent foundations and complete systems.

Wuhan Nongke People-Oriented Company: Inheriting the tradition of "diligent reading and hard work, self-establishment and helping others," our company aims at "scientific agriculture" and promotes the industrial development of centipede resources with the business philosophy of "integrity, dedication, realism, innovation, and win-win." We will be committed to providing our fellow farmers with higher quality and higher yield seedlings, more advanced technology, and more perfect services, keeping pace with the times, and jointly creating a brighter future tomorrow.

Selection criteria for centipedes are: the body should be intact without damage; the color should be fresh with good luster on the back; activity should be normal, able to eat, and you can select centipedes over 10 cm in length as breeding objects. If you can identify the gender of the breeding object, you can pair them according to the ratio, usually three females to one male. Additionally, when introducing species, pay attention to the regional characteristics of medicinal centipedes; if there's a local variety, don't go elsewhere to introduce species. Centipedes sometimes exhibit bullying behavior, so it's best to keep centipedes of the same age in the same pool.

Centipede Breeding Density

Centipedes like to live in groups. The density of breeding centipedes should vary depending on the season, insect size, thickness of sand soil, and temperature. When the temperature is low and the sand soil is thick, the breeding density can be higher. Conversely, when the temperature is high and the sand soil is thin, the density should be lower. For young centipedes leaving the nursery room, about 6500 per square meter is appropriate; for those 5 cm long, around 3500; for those 7-10 cm long, about 2000; for those 12-13 cm long, around 1100; and for those over 15 cm, about 600.

Requirements for Pool Soil

In summer, it should be slightly moist, while in spring, autumn, and winter, it should be slightly dry. The relative humidity of the environment around the breeding pot should be maintained at around 70%. If the soil in the pot is too wet, consider replacing it or sprinkling some dry soil inside the pot to absorb moisture. Some people mistakenly add cow dung and other fertilizers or chicken bones to the soil layer in the pot to breed insects as food for centipedes, which affects the hygiene of the pool and easily causes pollution.

Isolation Feeding for Pregnant Breeding Centipedes

Centipedes are dioecious. The mother about to lay eggs has a bloated body shape, her abdomen almost touching the ground, moving slowly, and is relatively easy to identify. It's best to isolate centipedes during egg-laying and hatching periods. The method is to place a small pot inside the breeding pot or use a canister bottle for individual breeding to avoid interference from other centipedes and facilitate management.

Heating Methods for the Breeding Room

The breeding room must be well-built and have conditions that allow for heating, temperature control, and good insulation. Generally, the size of such a breeding room depends on the number of centipedes overwintering, heating conditions, and the adequacy of heat energy supply. There are many heating methods. Coal stoves, wood shavings stoves, rice husk stoves, electric heating tubes, etc., can be used.

Harvesting and Processing of Centipede Products

Generally caught between April and June, after capture, use a pointed bamboo piece to insert into both ends of the centipede, then stretch it straight and dry it in the sun or scald it in boiling water until completely dried. In some regions, during winter, chicken feathers and chicken bones are buried in damp places to attract centipedes to lay eggs and reproduce, and they are captured at the beginning of spring.
