E Jing Net News (Chutian Jinbao) reported that the Yingcheng police announced on the previous day that they had dismantled a trafficking ring involving the selling of teenage girls into prostitution. Five suspects were successively arrested in Yingcheng, Wuhan, and Hanchuan, while two abducted teenage girls were rescued in Wuhan.
Starting with a text message to lure the suspect
On August 24th, residents Wan and Chen of Yingcheng successively reported to the Yingcheng Public Security Bureau that their daughters, Xiao Hua and Xiao Hong, who were in junior high school, had been missing for several days, suspecting that their daughters had been abducted. The Yingcheng Public Security Bureau immediately formed a special investigation team to solve the case.
The investigating officers learned from Xiao Hua's classmates that she had invited Xiao Hong to go online at an internet cafe, claiming that a friend from Hanchuan was waiting at the cafe. The police then retrieved and reviewed Xiao Hua's internet records, revealing a boy from Hanchuan named "Shunzi."
On September 1st at noon, Xiao Hua's mother informed the police that "Shunzi" had sent her a text message asking her to transfer 2000 yuan to a designated account. Officer Chen Jian immediately pretended to be Xiao Hua's uncle and called back; the other party claimed he was in a romantic relationship with Xiao Hua in Wuhan, saying that Xiao Hua currently had no money to return home and requested immediate transfer of funds.
Officer Chen Jian immediately demanded to speak with Xiao Hua, but "Shunzi" hesitated and did not agree. Chen Jian then decided to "lure the snake out of its hole," persuading "Shunzi" to come to Yingcheng to collect the money. Meanwhile, Xiao Hua's mother continued to maintain contact with "Shunzi," leading him to a pre-arranged ambush point near a middle school in Yingcheng. At around 5 PM that afternoon, a white Fukan car appeared within the investigators' view. After confirmation, the minor male sitting in the passenger seat was identified as "Shunzi." Several plainclothes officers quietly approached the car and swiftly took control of him.
Rushing to Wuhan to rescue the abducted girls
Upon investigation, it was found that "Shunzi" had sold Xiao Hua and Xiao Hong for 3000 yuan to "Uncle Liu" (52 years old, from Hanchuan City) near Jindiadun intersection in Hankou to engage in prostitution activities. This was a multi-person crime syndicate suspected of organizing prostitution. Special task force officers rushed to Hankou to secretly investigate and learned that Xiao Hua and Xiao Hong were located on the fourth floor of a private house in Jindiadun, with someone keeping watch outside. The special investigation team then split up to stake out various locations. Six hours later, taking advantage of the lookout returning inside, the investigating officers quickly rushed into the room, controlling the criminal suspects "Uncle Liu" and Tian (male, 53 years old, from Hanchuan City), finding Xiao Hua and Xiao Hong, who were staring blankly and appeared dazed, in the bedroom.
Moving to Hanchuan to capture suspects in the internet cafe
After intense interrogation, "Uncle Liu" and Tian confessed that there were two more accomplices in Hanchuan City, who frequently visited certain internet cafes and gaming rooms in Hanchuan City.
At around 4 AM the next morning, without resting, the special task force officers quickly headed to Hanchuan City. After secretly checking the internet cafes and gaming rooms frequented by the suspects, they captured Peng (male, 18 years old, from Hanchuan City) and Xiong (male, 20 years old, from Hanchuan City) who were online that evening at 9 PM. Both confessed to having trafficked multiple women to "Uncle Liu" in Wuhan for prostitution and gang-raped one of the teenage girls.
Currently, the Yingcheng police are still investigating this case further. (Special Correspondent: Chen Shi, Communication Officers: Zhu Wei, Fan Jun, Heng Hui)
