LG Air Conditioner - Neither the indoor nor outdoor fans are operating. Summary of troubleshooting methods.
Summary of Maintenance Experience
(1) Check if the AC contactor coil of the fan is damaged, has poor contact, or has loose wiring.
(2) Check if the fan motor is burned out;
(3) Check if the speed control board is damaged;
(4) If the fan bearing is damaged, the motor running current will increase, leading to overcurrent protection. The fan bearing should be replaced and the blades should rotate freely. When replacing the bearing, attention should be paid to ensure there is a gap between the rotor and stator, avoiding eccentricity which may cause the rotor and stator to rub against each other, leading to the motor coil being burned out. (5) Check if the normally open contacts of the compressor AC contactor have poor contact;
(6) For fans in the outdoor condenser controlled by a pressure relay, check if the pressure relay is functioning properly.
