This 51-year-old man was a habitual offender who had been imprisoned four times for raping and molesting women. After his last release from prison, his targets shifted to elderly women who were unable to resist. Prior to harming Ms. Lü, he had molested multiple elderly women.

After the incident, more than 70 police officers from Helong City were dispatched to intercept suspicious individuals at all city exits. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Han Zhengguo of Min Hui Police Station rushed to the hospital to quickly gather information about the suspect from Ms. Lü, who was undergoing emergency treatment.
Another group of police officers learned a crucial detail from the cook at a construction site near Ms. Lü's home: a few days ago, a man was seen chatting with an old lady on the construction site, and at one point, he touched the old lady's hand. Based on the information provided by Ms. Lü and the cook, the police brought in a sketch artist to draw a portrait of the suspect. When the police showed this portrait around the area where the crime occurred, an elderly woman claimed that in March, she too had been harassed by a middle-aged man who looked very similar to the one in the drawing. The police then showed this elderly woman photographs of several suspects in the city with similar criminal records, and she immediately identified a man named Wang.
After locking down Wang as the suspect, the police conducted a city-wide search overnight. On July 11th at 2:30 PM, Wang was finally arrested near Guangming Primary School in Helong City after drinking alcohol at a relative's house. It was less than 23 hours since the crime occurred.
Winning trust before committing molestation:
"You look just like my mother." This is the trick Wang often used to win the trust of elderly women. He would first use this method to build rapport, then falsely claim that he could diagnose illnesses, thus getting closer to the victims.
According to the police, on the day of the incident, Ms. Lü was sleeping at home when Wang entered without permission. Seeing that Ms. Lü was alone, Wang proceeded with his plan. A few days earlier, he had already met Ms. Lü on the construction site, diagnosed her pulse, and even escorted her home, so Ms. Lü did not suspect him when he visited.
After entering, Wang chatted with Ms. Lü for a while, then gave her a pulse diagnosis, followed by a back massage. Taking advantage of Ms. Lü's lack of vigilance, Wang forcibly molested her and used a plastic stick to pull out her intestines.
No mercy for an 87-year-old:
According to the police, Wang was a habitual offender who had been imprisoned four times. At 51 years old, Wang was from Helong City. In 1978, he was sentenced to 8 years in prison for raping a minor. In 1987, he was sentenced to 15 years for raping women. In 1999, he was sentenced to 5 years for robbery and molestation of women. In 2005, he was sentenced to one year of labor reform for molesting women and theft. Due to his repeated offenses, Wang remained single.
In 2006, after being released from prison, Wang still refused to reform and targeted elderly women who were unable to resist. According to his confession, before harming Ms. Lü, he had molested multiple elderly women. Currently, the police have verified five cases, with the victims all aged over 70. The oldest victim was 87, and the youngest was 75. Wang would first build rapport, then help carry items or escort the elderly home, and then falsely claim he could diagnose illnesses to gain their trust before committing his crimes. Due to his lack of sexual capability, he generally molested his victims during these incidents.
Because these elderly women did not report the crimes due to various reasons, it further emboldened Wang's criminal behavior. Even after harming Ms. Lü, he remained in the city instead of fleeing, acting as if nothing had happened. After his arrest, he remained calm and confessed to all his crimes within half an hour.
Currently, Wang has been criminally detained by the Helong police. The Helong Public Security Bureau stated that given the poverty of the victim Ms. Lü's family, the bureau will provide some financial assistance.
