Sanyo Air Conditioner Repair Example: After working for a period of time, the entire unit has no response.
Symptom: After working for a while, the indoor unit loses power and the entire unit has no response.
Repair Process: After the user reported the issue, the technician checked on-site and found that everything was normal when the machine was first turned on for about ten minutes. However, during operation, it suddenly lost power, and all indicator lights went out. But after unplugging and reinserting the plug, the machine could still function normally and repeated this process. The technician initially tested the voltage at the user's home, which was 224V, within the normal range. The user's room was newly renovated, and upon checking the power socket connections, they were found to be in good contact. Therefore, the machine's power section was suspected. It was discovered that when the machine entered protection mode, the primary side of the transformer was in an open circuit state due to thermal fuse protection.
Repair Measures: Replaced the transformer, and the test run was normal.
Summary: The transformer of this machine is on the control board, not an external transformer. When replacing it, ensure that the welding is secure; otherwise, the machine may have problems again when vibrating (as an emergency measure, the temperature fuse on the transformer can also be short-circuited).
