**Panasonic Air Conditioner, Series Wind Noise Issue**
**Fault Phenomenon:** Indoor unit wind noise.
**Cause Analysis:** After checking the unit on-site and turning it on, when the indoor unit is running, during the swinging process of the louvers, the indoor wind noise changes rhythmically with the movement of the louvers. Initially, it was suspected to be a problem with the encapsulated motor or controller, but the fault persisted even after replacement. By chance, when the manual swing button was pressed, the wind noise disappeared. Subsequent analysis revealed the cause: When the deflector swings, the area of the outlet changes. When it swings to the topmost position, the outlet area becomes the smallest, causing airflow obstruction and producing a whistling wind sound. This noise falls within the standard range, and the main approach should be to explain this to the user.
**Repair Measures:** Replace the Motorola chip controller.
**Experience Summary:** This sound is wind noise, and the noise level does not exceed the standard. In such cases, do not blindly replace the motor or controller.
