Since breasts are primarily made up of fat and are malleable, if one has breasts but doesn't wear a bra, it can often lead to outward spreading of the breasts or even the development of accessory nipples... When young, this might not be as noticeable; however, as one gets older, the effects will become more apparent, and by then it will be too late to regret it.
Wearing a bra is mainly about protecting the shape of the breasts. Moreover, breast skin is more sensitive and delicate than other parts of the body. If no bra is worn, the direct contact between the outer clothing and the skin can cause discomfort due to prolonged friction. Wearing a bra is similar to why we wear underwear - for comfort and protection.
Therefore, unless one truly has very small or almost non-existent breasts, it's generally recommended to wear a bra!
