At around 1 p.m. yesterday, the reporter traveled from Xingtai, Hebei, to Beijing. The address on the business card of the fake Yan Peidong was "Room 302, Unit 3, Building 3, Taiping Art Village, Tongzhou District, Beijing." On the commitment letter signed by the fake Yan Peidong for the People's Congress of Weixian County, there was a seal stating "Beijing Longteng Shengshi Tourism Cultural Information Center."
After much inquiry, the reporter only found out that there was a Taiping Village in Taiping Town in Tongzhou District. Taiping Town is more than 60 kilometers away from the city center and belongs to the suburbs.

A local farmer who came to the police station for business said he had lived here all his life and had never heard of a Taiping Art Village, "Are you looking for 'Artists' Village'?"

Opposite the Taiping Town government office is the Taiping Art Museum, which occupies a large area and is the only place locally related to art. There are many art companies inside, known locally as "Artists' Village." However, no one locally knows or has heard of "Yan Peidong," "Liu Xubo," or the "Beijing Longteng Shengshi Tourism Cultural Information Center."
At around 3 p.m., the reporter went to the Majiqiao Business Administration Office, where all enterprises in Taiping Town must register.
