Chengdu, June 3 (by Wang Chao and Fu Pei) -- At around 11:30 a.m. on June 3, a regular policeman from Xiwai Township in Sichuan's Deyang was driving along the fast road section in Guanghan City while conducting public security patrols when he was suddenly head-on collided by a Buick car coming from the opposite direction. The accident resulted in injuries to one policeman and the driver of the Buick car.
When I arrived at the scene to investigate, I discovered that the cause of the accident was not a common traffic accident but rather something more mysterious. It turned out that the owner of the Buick car had been held hostage by three criminals, leaving him in grave danger and unable to call for help.
As the vehicle approached the fast road section in Guanghan City, the owner of the Buick car suddenly spotted an approaching police car. In a panic, he came up with a last-resort method. When the Buick car was less than 10 meters away from the police car, the owner of the Buick car suddenly swerved left, causing a head-on collision with the police car.
After the collision, the three criminals were thrown into a panic and hastily fled the scene, disappearing into the fields. The injured policeman and the owner of the Buick car were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment by the 120 emergency services.
