In a pulsator-type fully automatic washing machine, the pulsator is the mechanical motion component that realizes the washing function. It is installed inside the washing drum and fixed on the agitator shaft of the clutch.
The agitator is made of plastic by injection molding. To prevent wear between the agitator shaft and the shaft hole during high-speed rotation, a metal insert sleeve is usually pre-embedded in the agitator shaft hole. The bottom of the agitator is equipped with blades, which are integrated with the agitator. When the agitator rotates, the blades drive the washing liquid below the agitator to rotate, causing the washing liquid to impact the clothes and achieve the purpose of removing dirt. The shape of the agitator, the size of its diameter, the height of the agitator ribs, and the speed of rotation all have a certain impact on the cleaning degree of the washing machine and the wear rate of the clothes.
Fully automatic washing machines generally use large and high agitators, with diameters typically ranging from 300 to 340 mm and speeds generally ranging from 130 to 180 r/min, so the washing effect is good.
