Fan Lichu: Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a renowned expert in bridges and structural engineering, current Chairman of the Chinese National Group of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE), standing director of the China Civil Engineering Society, and chairman of the Bridge and Structural Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society.
Lu Yaoru: Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1997, he is a famous geologist. Currently a professor in the Department of Underground Architecture and Engineering at the College of Civil Engineering, Tongji University. He has been engaged in karst geological scientific research and engineering practice for a long time, participating in and guiding a series of surveys and studies related to water conservancy, hydropower, railways, mines, and urban engineering. Known as "Karst Lu" both domestically and internationally due to his achievements in karst research, he was awarded the National Science Conference Award in 1998, the second prize for geological science and technology, and the second prize for excellent scientific and technological books nationwide. His research focuses on the finite element method, energy principles, and structural analysis. He has achieved five pioneering scientific research results: generalized conforming elements, domain mixed elements, new shell elements, partitioned energy principles, and optional parameter energy principles. He participated in formulating the "Design Code for Thin Shell Structures."
Chen Zhaoyuan: Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a famous structural engineer, concurrently serving as standing director of the China Civil Engineering Society and chairman of the Education Work Committee, deputy chairman of the Protective Engineering Sub-discipline Society, and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Civil Engineering. He has been engaged in research on protective engineering design theory, blast-resistant structures, reinforced concrete structures, and evaluation of the actual working performance of buildings. He has achieved remarkable results in protective engineering and high-strength concrete structure research. He leads key national scientific research projects in the field of high-strength, high-performance concrete and is responsible for editing and publishing the Design and Construction Code for High-Strength Concrete Structures.

He is currently a member of the board of directors of the China Civil Engineering Society, deputy chairman of the national prestressed concrete society, and the academic leader of the prestressed discipline in China. He has made outstanding contributions to the development of concrete and prestressed concrete structural science and technology in China. He improved the calculation theory and design methods of concrete structures, proposed two types of oblique crack theories, shear design methods, and calculation formulas for bidirectional eccentric tension, developed the system, calculation theory, and design methods of prestressed concrete structures, and pioneered new fields of application for prestress technology.

Since the 1980s, he has been committed to opening up the emerging discipline of large-span space structures. He has achieved important results in frontier research such as "Cable Structure System and Its Analytical Theory", "Nonlinear Stability of Reticulated Shell Structures", and "Wind Vibration Response of Large-Span Flexible Roofs". His research has made important contributions to the development of large-span space structures in China. His research results have won the Second Prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress and the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Construction.

He systematically established the calculation theory, methods, and charts of the quasi-laminated plate method for various truss structures in large-span space structures, which were included in the "Design and Construction Regulations for Truss Structures" in China. He created a new method for calculating honeycomb triangular pyramid trusses - the lower chord internal force method; for the first time, he proposed the quasi-triangular layer calculation theory method for combined reticulated shell structures; and internationally and domestically, he established the theoretical basis, calculation formulas, and multi-layer large-span building combined truss "floor within a floor" complete set of design and construction application technologies.
