PerkinElmer has announced the launch of two new solid phase extraction (SPE) product lines designed for use in small sample preparation.
The Supra-Clean and Supra-Poly SPE options utilize proprietary bed technology and spherical particles, allowing for reproducible results to be achieved at consistent levels quickly and efficiently.
Continuous sample preparation processes are ensured through column-to-column and batch-to-batch consistency with bed uniformity quality levels that are significantly higher than the industry average.
The products will be released next month and will offer various potential applications in pharmaceutical, environmental, and food industries.
Jonathan Dilley, vice president of aftermarket solutions at PerkinElmer’s analytical sciences and laboratory services division, stated: "Our first-generation SPE products will address our customers' challenges, as they are specifically designed to produce uniform performance in a fraction of the time compared to other major sample preparation methods."
Last week, the company expanded its global operations through the acquisition of British company Dexela Limited, a provider of X-ray detector technology for the healthcare industry.
