At noon yesterday, I was writing an email with the 163 mailbox while reviewing the events of the past year. By four o'clock, it was finally completed. Then I chose a "Miss You" letter template, and the stationery automatically added "Best regards" at the end of the letter. I felt there was no need to add these four words, so I pressed the backspace key to delete them, but in two seconds, I ended up deleting the entire email.
I almost fainted, more than four hours of hard work was gone just like that. There was no undo button, pressing the back button was also useless.
After drinking some water, I started rewriting it in Word. By seven o'clock, it was finally finished.
Although it was only more than 6000 words, because I had to recall the events of the past year and wipe my eyes with tissue paper, it took that long.
When I woke up in the morning, I checked my phone for messages, but found none.
I rushed to the lab and searched on Baidu for "Wuhan cosplay August 13", and found "Coca-Cola Apex Battle Cosplay Entertainment Season at Shaw Plaza". Today was the second day of the competition. There was no specific time written, only that the big reveal of Conan episode 498 was fully disclosed! It only said that the mall opened at 10 a.m. I looked at my watch, it was exactly nine.
I finally arrived at the Flora Shopping Mall around ten o'clock. When I got to the scene and asked others, I was told that it would start at twelve. So I went upstairs to find a good spot and stood there for two hours.
The first program was the performance of the Messiah band. Not counting the random singing before twelve, they sang six songs in total. The lead female singer's name is Zhang Jing. The first song she sang was the Japanese song "A Place With Love", the second one was Cranberries' "Zombie", which was quite well done.
Then another very "cute" (as introduced by the lead female singer) male lead singer appeared. The band's style then shifted from Jap Pop and Britpop rock to a Gothic metal style similar to Nightwish. It was a hoarse and ghostly howl, accompanied by the high-pitched backing vocals of the female lead singer. But I liked it.
The male lead singer sang three songs. Finally, the female lead singer performed "Until the End of the World", unfortunately, Slam Dunk isn't popular anymore, so there wasn't much reaction.
The second program was the official start of the cosplay event. Today's cosplay was already the fourth session. The first group was called AU Alliance, cosplaying Audition. I swear the host said AV Alliance hh. This group consisted of three girls and two boys. The girls were dressed provocatively. Although it was hot, there was still a risk of catching a cold. They danced suggestive dances. Not suitable for children.
The third program was the Tsubasa no Ken group's Shaman King cosplay. It was average and didn't leave much impression. I've only watched two episodes of the anime.
The fourth program was DancingRock Society's SD doll fashion show. It wasn't impressive.
The fifth program was an unnamed walk-through by Linggu Animation Club. I came a long way just to see this program. To see the cute expression of the club president dressed in a Kawaii pink costume, I gave up the golden viewing platform on the second floor and ran down to the first floor.
It was quite nice. The dance part came from the music video of Refrain by Takachiho Masami for Gundam SEED.
Then I returned to school.
Speaking of cosplay, every time I watch it, the feelings are pretty much the same. I'm amazed by the fashion sense of young people today and feel the passage of time. Since I had two hours of leisure time today, I did what Zhang Yang once said: standing on the second floor of the shopping mall, watching the handsome men and beautiful women downstairs move about freely.
Many of them were contestants, on a grand scale, and their costumes clearly reflected thematic elements. Today, there was a large group cosplaying Prince of Tennis. Thanks to Tomita, although I have never seen a complete episode of Prince of Tennis, I still successfully recognized someone cosplaying Ryoma m_m#
Girls who came to watch the competition were mostly obviously carefully dressed. Their clothing, hats (or ears...), socks, and shoes were all very distinctive. Only at the scene can you feel comfortable and be your own "Mars". More than 10 girls were dressed as catwomen today. Among them, three girls not only had the required cat ears and miniskirts for catwomen, but also equipped themselves with tails. As for the boys, today I saw many kids who liked to style their hair very stylishly, similar to KOF's K'. They preferred shirts with collars opened wide and wore necklaces with either a lock or a cross on them.
