According to Mr. Liu who posted the Weibo, the person being searched for is his colleague's father, who suffers from mild cerebral hemorrhage sequelae and left home on the morning of March 31st and has not returned since. The elderly man only carried a small amount of cash, and after failing to find him through various means, Mr. Liu decided to seek help by posting on Weibo. The missing elderly man is named Liu Hongxiang, a native of Beijing, currently 79 years old, and when he left home, he was wearing a black leather cap and high-cut white sports shoes.
After this Weibo post was published, thousands of netizens participated in forwarding it within just two days, expressing their blessings and providing clues. Celebrities such as Zhao Wei, Yuquan (music duo), Ma Yili, and social organizations also joined the love relay. Ms. Liu, the daughter of the elderly man, said that her father previously fell and suffered from cerebral hemorrhage, and although he recovered somewhat after treatment, his memory and discernment abilities have all declined.
Ms. Liu said that according to information obtained from passersby and netizens, her father was seen at the entrance of the Line 5 subway station at Beiyuan, near the Beiyuan residential area, on the No. 695 bus, in Yuyuantan Park, and in Xidan, but all the clues were delayed, and by the time they arrived, he was already nowhere to be found.
