Pickle thought that the butterfly from his school lived every day among the flowers, unlike his family who were always soaked in black bean sauce. Therefore, he admired the butterfly very much.

One day, as Pickle was walking alone in the campus with his head down, Butterfly and her classmates walked towards him. After they passed each other, Butterfly started fanning her nose with a handkerchief while disdainfully saying, "Country bumpkin, you smell sour." These words happened to be heard by Pickle, making him feel very uncomfortable. He secretly made a vow: In the future, I, Pickle, must study hard and learn more skills so that you, Butterfly, will know that I am no ordinary person.

Butterfly loved to show off, so the spiders decided to play a trick on her. They deliberately wove a web on her way to school. On her way home after school, Butterfly ran straight into it. As she struggled in the web, the spiders watched from the side laughing. Just then, Pickle happened to pass by. Seeing Butterfly's pitiful state, he wanted to save her but remembered her disdainful attitude towards him. He felt that she deserved it and wanted to ignore her and walk away. However, seeing the spiders' gloating faces, he felt sorry for her. Softening his heart, he went up and pulled her down, then turned around and left.

Butterfly realized that the one who saved her was Pickle, whom she had looked down upon before. She felt regretful and thought that she should not judge people by their appearance or look down on others casually in the future.

The spiders were enjoying the scene when they didn't expect Pickle to ruin their fun. So they chased after Pickle. In "Super Pickle Part IV - Pickle Becomes a Monk," they beat him up. Pickle got very angry and decided to go home and discuss with his mother, Mabo Bing, about going to Shaolin Temple to learn martial arts in "Super Pickle Part V - Pickle and the Rose."
