Aeroscraft ML866 is a new buoyant aircraft (think blimp) that uses powered lift (think airplane or helicopter). It was designed by Aeros, a dirigible manufacturer, and unveiled in October. It’s supposed to take off and land vertically – meaning it doesn’t need an airport – and hover. It can cruise at up to 222 km/h, with a range of 5000 km. And it can be customized for clients as either a private or passenger vehicle, or for use as a cargo carrier.
