A Brief Talk on Fuzhou's Weather

As a Fuzhou resident, I feel it necessary to discuss the weather in Fuzhou. The following is an official evaluation:

In general, Fuzhou has a pleasant climate with abundant rainfall and year-round greenery. It boasts rich climatic resources, suitable temperatures, sufficient rain, and perpetual greenness.

However:

The spring in Fuzhou is often characterized by continuous drizzle with significant temperature fluctuations, making it the season with the most overcast and rainy days in a year. There are two distinct periods: the Spring Rain Period (March to April) and the Plum Rain Period (May to June). During the Spring Rain Period, the weather can be highly variable between cold and hot. In some years, there may even be late spring cold snaps or hailstorms due to strong convection.

Summer is mainly dominated by clear and hot weather, which is also the peak period for localized thunderstorms, tropical storms, and typhoon activities in the Fuzhou area.

Autumn features high skies with thin clouds, plenty of sunshine, and a pleasant climate.

Winter generally sees less rainfall, lower temperatures, but no severe cold.

A friendly reminder from A Gan:

1. Please always carry an umbrella or have a companion who carries one;

2. Keep your wardrobe well-stocked to meet unexpected needs;

3. Adjust clothing in a timely manner to avoid catching a cold;

4. Do not complain about the weather, it's not its fault.

That should cover everything.

Brief discussion completed.
