**Assessment of Disability for Persons Injured in Road Traffic Accidents GB 18667-2002 3.6 Disability Rating Classification**

This standard categorizes the disability level of persons injured in road traffic accidents into 10 grades, ranging from Grade 1 (100%) to Grade X (10%), with a difference of 10% between each grade. The basis for the classification of disability grades can be found in Appendix A.

**B.2 Calculation of Disability Compensation for Multi-grade Disabilities**

Where:

- C = Actual compensation amount for the disabled person, in yuan;

- Ct = Total disability compensation, in yuan;

- C1 = Liability coefficient for compensation, indicating the degree of responsibility of the party obligated to compensate for the accident, where 0 ≤ C1 ≤ 1;

- Ih = Disability compensation index at the highest grade, i.e., the compensation ratio corresponding to the highest disability grade for multi-grade disabilities, expressed as a percentage (%);

- Ia = Additional disability compensation index, i.e., the increased compensation ratio due to an additional disability, expressed as a percentage, where 0 ≤ Ia ≤ 10%.

**B.3 Disability Compensation Index**

The disability compensation index refers to the proportion of compensation that a disabled person should receive based on their disability status.
