"The Epidemiological Survey Study of Diabetes among the Population Aged 30-70 in Zibo City" passed the appraisal by the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau at our hospital, reaching a domestic leading level.
Professor Chen Li, Director of the Department of Endocrinology of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Chairman of the Provincial Endocrine Society, and doctoral supervisor, served as the chairman of the appraisal committee, with six other well-known endocrinology experts and professors from the province and city forming the appraisal committee. Through blood glucose testing and oral glucose tolerance (OGTT) tests screening, the First Hospital of Zibo City statistically organized and analyzed the epidemiological data of diabetes in Zibo City, deriving the prevalence data of diabetes and abnormal blood glucose regulation in Zibo City. This achievement has important guiding significance for directing the prevention and treatment work of diabetes in Zibo City, filling the gap in the epidemiological data of diabetes in Zibo City. The research was unanimously recognized and highly evaluated by the topic appraisal committee. After appraisal, this achievement reached a domestic leading level, with very high clinical application value. It is recommended to further improve the data and conduct in-depth research.
