iPad: Apple tablet computer

The Apple iPad measures 242.8×189.7×13.4 mm and weighs only 680g (730g for the 3G version). It features a 9.7-inch LED-backlit screen with multi-touch support incorporating IPS technology, and a resolution of 1024×768 pixels. Additionally, it comes with an anti-fingerprint coating. The iPad includes 12 new generation multi-touch applications. Each application can run in both portrait and landscape modes, automatically switching views with animation when the user rotates the iPad in any direction.
