On December 3rd, the cabin service department of Air China successfully completed the test flight support task for the RNP APCH flight procedure. This achievement was highly praised by Zhang Jianqiang, Deputy Director of the Flight Standards Department of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), and his team. A reporter from the Civil Aviation Newspaper, representing the observation group, handed over a commendation letter titled "A Special Flight Carries a Special Mission" to the flight attendants to express gratitude to the crew members.
After receiving the test flight support task, the leadership of the cabin service department placed great importance on this mission. They held multiple meetings for task deployment and related preparations, arranging the most outstanding cabin crew members to participate in the support. To ensure the successful completion of the validation test flight, on the day of the test flight, the Xia Rong cabin crew of the cabin department held a preparation meeting at 6:00 AM to arrange the cabin support work for the day.
Throughout the entire test flight process, the cockpit door remained open to facilitate observation and guidance by CAAC leaders. Moreover, all personnel inside the cabin were allowed to move around and communicate freely at any time. Meanwhile, such a special flight presented certain difficulties and challenges for the cabin attendants' safety assurance and service work. The cabin crew provided meticulous care and considerate services to the test flight personnel and the CAAC observation group with enthusiasm and careful preparation, showcasing the demeanor of the cabin crew from Air China Chongqing Branch. Subsequently, the cabin department presented souvenirs bearing the Air China logo to the members of the CAAC observation group.
After the successful completion of the test flight mission, Song Zhiyong, Vice President of Air China, specifically called to commend the members who participated in the test flight and the service support units, expressing his thanks.
