However, today, the court system of Yancheng held a calligraphy, painting and photography exhibition, which may let you see another side of the judges. In the large exhibition hall, there were more than 200 calligraphy and painting works, with flying dragons and dancing phoenixes, powerful strokes; Chinese ink paintings, flowers, birds, insects, fish, and lifelike portraits. Unexpectedly, these all came from the hands of those judges who are serious about handling cases on a daily basis. Judge Shen from Dagang Court also had his work selected for this calligraphy and painting exhibition and won an award.
The court staff said that this calligraphy and photography exhibition organized by Yancheng Intermediate People's Court enriched our daily cultural life on the one hand, and on the other hand, showed us the multifaceted charm of judges.
These calligraphy and painting works created by judges give people a sense of visual beauty; while the photographs are the true representation of judges going deep into the front line to handle cases on a daily basis. There are not only wonderful pictures of trials, enforcement, and mediation, but also outdoor sketches, covering a wide range of topics, fully reflecting the spirit of justice and serving the people wholeheartedly, making it easier for people to resonate.
A court staff member said that it was very meaningful for judges to express their understanding of the legal spirit through calligraphy and painting.
A citizen mentioned that although judges usually work in this way, after seeing these pictures today, they deeply feel again from the bottom of their hearts that this work is really not easy.
To show the style and life of judges, build a new type of court culture, and get closer to the masses, this calligraphy, painting, and photography exhibition of the court system was undoubtedly successful.
Flint Qingyu, the President and Party Secretary of Yancheng Intermediate People's Court, said that in order to enrich the cultural life of the court, improve the cultural literacy and taste of judges, the Party Leadership Group of our court decided at the beginning of this year to hold a city-wide calligraphy and painting exhibition to cultivate the temperament of our judges and improve the cultural taste of our judges, which will help promote the various works of our judges.
