Yesterday was an exciting and unforgettable day for Qian Xiaoli, an English teacher at Dasheng Experimental Primary School. She found out online that she had successfully passed the exam and become a volunteer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In August this year, she will head to Beijing to serve the Beijing Olympics. After Beijing's successful Olympic bid, Qian Xiaoli has been closely following the Beijing Olympics. When she learned that volunteers were being selected in our province, she signed up immediately and used her spare time to study a large amount of Olympic-related knowledge as well as first aid knowledge. In the selection exam at the end of December last year, she achieved excellent results in various exams such as language expression ability, response ability, psychological quality, and etiquette knowledge, becoming one of the 60 Beijing Olympics volunteers in our province.
