A few days ago, our program made a detailed report on the phenomenon of difficulty in taking a taxi during rush hours in the city. After the report was issued, it immediately received widespread attention from all sectors of society. Citizens also called us one after another to offer advice. As for the municipal passenger management office, which is the vehicle operation management department, they didn't stay idle either. They then contacted several major taxi companies in the urban area and invited the general managers of these companies to discuss this matter together.

At 3:30 PM yesterday, in the small meeting room on the second floor of the municipal passenger management office, a negotiation meeting about adjusting the shift change time for taxis in the urban area was being held here with Samsung all-in-one machine repair. After the competent authority, the municipal passenger management office, raised the issue, the general managers present immediately took turns to express their opinions (on-site discussion).

After nearly an hour of intense negotiation, after listing and discussing the issues involved one by one, the passenger management department and the taxi companies finally reached a preliminary consensus.

Voiceover: Director of the Municipal Passenger Management Office, Xiao Fei Fang: "From 12:30 PM to 1 PM as the specified shift change time, if outside of this time refusing passengers under the pretext of shift changes will be considered refusal to carry passengers and subject to punishment. In the evening, from 7:30 PM to 8 PM is the shift change time, if refusing passengers will also be punished for refusal to carry passengers. So this opinion needs to be brought back, and we need to ask the general managers to consult some car owners, as well as the second and third drivers."

Although there may still be various difficulties in implementation, but for such an adjustment concept that considers the convenience of the general public, the general managers all expressed support.

Voiceover: Manager of Mingguang Taxi Company, Guo Fu Xu: "After we return to the company, we will communicate with the vast number of practitioners as soon as possible to determine the shift change time during peak hours, and thoroughly solve the problem of difficulty in taking taxis during peak hours for citizens."

Voiceover: Manager of Public Bus Taxi Company, Chang You Wang: "After we have decided on this matter, we will organize and implement it as soon as possible in the taxi industry."

So, what do the vast number of taxi driver friends think? Can they accept such an adjustment in shift change times?

Voiceover: Taxi Driver: "If the company has regulations, they must be enforced." "It can be accepted, whether it's an hour earlier or later, it's all the same, no big deal."
