Japanese robots in space

According to Pink Tentacle and the NS Technology Blog, the organizers of the Robo-One robot competition plan to launch a humanoid robot carried by a pico-satellite into space in October 2010. This organization holds an annual radio-controlled robot battle competition in Tokyo.
