Robot runs fast to break the record

The upright robot "RunBot", which was jointly developed by researchers from Germany and Scotland, is the fastest walking robot of its kind thanks to its small size. It is about 30 cm tall and can walk a distance of 3.5 times its leg length per second, breaking the record previously held by MIT's Spring Flamingo. Although the Spring Flamingo is four times taller, it can only walk 1.4 times its leg length per second.
