US 6th Grader Wins Google Logo Design Contest

After nearly 6 months of online voting, the results of the 2009 Doodle 4 Google logo design competition are finally out. The winner is Christin Engelberth, a 6th grade student from Bernard Harris Middle School in San Antonio, Texas. Her work, titled "A New Beginning" ("a new start"), expresses her wish for "finding ways to rejuvenate the earth after getting through the current crisis."
