The male protagonist, Kunihiko, is a third-year high school student with a medium-like constitution (meaning his body is easily possessed by spirits or ghosts, as we commonly say "a ghost has mounted"). One day, he enters a shop where any wish can be fulfilled, and from that point on, he falls into an abyss of misfortune. Here, April 1st is not April Fools' Day but rather a certain spiritually endowed bespectacled boy. "There are no coincidental matters in this world; everything is fated." On a fateful day, Kunihiko Shiho (with the unusual surname) comes to the fated shop that can fulfill any wish, meets the fated beautiful and mysterious female shop owner, Ikuko Hitoen, and begins his predestined part-time job.
